Kampf says PennDOT Taking Summer Employment Applications

Rep. Warren Kampf (R-Chester/Montgomery) has announced that the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is accepting applications for summer employment for college students.   

The positions are full-time and last from May through August to supplement the permanent workforce.  The summer workers are generally used for highway and sign maintenance. The positions pay an hourly rate of $11.43.  

Candidates must be enrolled full-time in college. Those with a sophomore or above status must be in good academic standing. 

Applicants must apply online at www.employment.pa.gov.   Look for the listing “student summer employment.” The deadline to apply is the close of business on Friday, March 2.
